Favorite Television Shows: #1 - Smallville

Why?: Despite season 9  being complete and utter crap, having only 2.5 good episodes.. the first eight seasons are amazing. I prefer the older seasons… once they’re out of high school. Some amazing actors have graced Smallville with their presence such as Allison Mack, Sam Witwer, Kristin Kreuk, Tom Welling, Jensen Ackles, and Laura Vandervoort to name a few. Despite it being a show about Superman, I have always loved the ensemble feel of the series, with many of the characters getting their own story arcs and yet still being able to have it all revolve around Clark Kent. I’m not gonna lie, this show does have it’s major flaws [Lois, Clois, some of the writing in the past season, ect], but the amazingness that is Chloe Sullivan and Chlark makes all of that tolerable. Because of Chloe Sullivan, Smallville is my #1 favorite show. She’s my all-time favorite television character. <3

Favorite Television Shows: #2 - Fringe

Why?: The alternate universes is a really interesting storyline and something that I’ve always kinda been into. Plus, Olivia Dunham kicks so much ass, it’s not even funny. Anna Torv was born to play her. Plus… Peter and Olivia <3 I’m really excited to see where their relationship is heading in season three. I love them as friends, and I think i’ll like them even more in a romantic relationship. The season two cliffhanger is EVIL. Walternate and Alt!Olivia need to gtfo. Poor Olivia. :( The finale scene KILLS me. Anna nailed it.

Favorite Television Shows: #3 - Supernatural

Why?: This show makes me wish I had an older brother. I love the brotherly interaction between Dean and Sam [Wincest~ ;x lol jk]. The first three seasons are some of the best television I’ve ever watched. Every episode has me on the edge of my seat. While the show has lost some of it’s spark in the last two seasons, it’s still a great series. I’m glad the whole Demons vs Angels storyline is through, and I can’t wait for season six!

Favorite Television Shows: #4 - Veronica Mars

Why?: I caught on to this show about three years too late ;o but I love it. The character of Veronica Mars is such a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other annoying female characters on television (*cough*loislane*cough*). No wonder Dawn Ostroff canceled the show~ Alongside that, I love the mystery aspect of it all. The writing is really well done with storylines and characters that you hate to love [e.g Logan] and love to hate [e.g Jacque].

Favorite Television Shows: #5 - Dead Like Me 

Why?: This show seriously needs to be renewed. It’s one of the freshest comedy series ever. Even six years later, it beats out most comedies on television. I like how it humanizes reapers… they’re more alive than they are dead. It puts a whole new spin on death which is really fun to watch. Plus, the characters are great. Especially Mason and Daisy <3
